Let’s chatDoes this feel familiar?

- Does mainstream parenting advice just not fit your family?
- Have you tried sticker charts, behavior plans, rewards, consequences, and step-by-step programs that promised results but only brought more conflict, meltdowns, and tears?
- Do you wonder if you’re failing, even though you’re trying harder than anyone you know?
- Do you feel watched, judged, or quietly blamed by family, other parents, or your child’s school?
- Does your stomach drop when a call, email, or meeting invitation comes from your child’s teacher?
- Are you on a first-name basis with the principal, counselor, or behavior team, not by choice, but because you have to be?
- Have you sat across from a teacher or therapist and heard, “We’ve never dealt with a child like this before”?
- Do other families seem to make it look easy? Do you wonder what you’re missing?
- Are you worn out by schools, medical systems, evaluations, appointments, and endless recommendations that still don’t fit your child?
- Is parenting your child hard in ways that are nearly impossible to explain to someone who hasn’t lived it?
If any of this resonates, please hear this:
You are not doing it wrong.
Your child is not broken.
And you are not alone.
You are parenting in uncharted waters.
Your child doesn’t fit the mold, and the usual maps, scripts, and advice weren’t made with them in mind. When a child’s nervous system, learning style, or way of moving through the world doesn’t match what schools and society expect, the pressure rarely lands on the system. It lands on the parents.
Uncharted Parenting isn’t about fixing your child. It isn’t another chart, system, or one-size-fits-all strategy. I’m not offering a quick fix. I’m offering deep support and understanding as you learn to navigate life with a unique child.
Together, we’ll look beneath the behavior, make sense of what’s actually happening, and build the clarity and strength you need to move through the world with more confidence. Along the way, you may come to understand your child, and yourself, more deeply. You can rebuild trust, strengthen connection, and create support that fits your real child and your real family. Sometimes that understanding leads to some pretty incredible shifts.
You don’t need more judgment.
You don’t need another expert insisting their roadmap will work if you just try harder.
You need support that sees the whole picture and helps you chart a path of your own.
That’s where we can begin...

How I Can Help

I work with parents to:
- Look beneath behavior, school struggles, and big emotions to understand what may be happening
- Understand your child’s nervous system, needs, strengths, and unique way of moving through the world
- Move out of cycles of conflict and reactivity toward calmer, more connected responses
- Sort through overwhelming and contradictory parenting advice
- Develop practical strategies tailored to your child and family, rather than forcing either of you into a one-size-fits-all system
- Identify supports and accommodations that help your child feel safer, more capable, and better understood
- Navigate schools, IEPs, evaluations, and advocacy with more clarity and confidence
- Rebuild trust and connection after a long, hard stretch
- Feel more grounded, capable, and less alone
My work isn’t about fixing your child or promising a quick solution. It’s about understanding your child more deeply, strengthening your connection, and charting a new path that fits your child, your family, and your life.
